his goal, to channel the doo-wop era of the 50s & 60s.

...of course, he mesmerized the crowd with his voice,
and we styled him in this nicely tailored attire, making him one cool cat.

he utilized the curatorial shopping program.
i had the pleasure of taking a few options to his home.
there we chose what would work best for the stage.

fellow’s owner and founder, Shayla Cox is based in New York City. She is a graduate of the prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology, and has continued to hone her skills in the fashion industry for the past nine years. Having lived and worked abroad in London, England and Florence, Italy she understands the importance of the global perspective. She has served industry giants like Polo Ralph Lauren, Tracy Reese, The Limited, Kenneth Cole Productions, among other specialized luxury brands.

Throughout her years in the corporate arena she maintained a consistent personal styling client base of men and women in finance, media and entertainment. Whether the job was assisting a financial analyst in his style decisions, shopping for a magazine publisher, or styling a motivational speaker for tours and promotion, she knows how to pull together a look and earn her client’s trust when it comes to apparel buying decisions.

We go through your closet and put together 10 look options utilizing new purchases, old favorites, and those pieces you have no idea what to do with. Instead of shopping, we look at what you currently have with a fresh eye and create outfits you never thought of. We take pictures of your new looks and create a presentation for your reference. Enjoy the ease of getting dressed with your personal lookbook; your closet will feel like new.

closet curatorial*
We come to your home to analyze, assess, and edit your closet getting rid of the outdated, worn-out and ill-fitting. We organize your closet and create a replacement strategy for items that may have been discarded. Includes one hour of personal shopping.

*closet curatorial is available with closet organization only.

curatorial shopping
You set the budget and we curate a shopping trip based on your needs, whether you are making purchases for yourself or someone else. You may accompany us or we can make the trip for you. A great service for the person with minimal time or no desire to shop. Includes initial consultation.

home décor shopping*
Light decorating for any room to make your place feel like a home. We discuss your desired outcome and aesthetic. You set the budget and we curate a shopping trip for furniture, lighting, accessories etc. Includes initial consultation.

*Will redesign rooms as well with no need to purchase new. Similar to our Daily Fellow Service, we will utilize and optimize what you already own.
